Dockable, Instant WYSIWYG Display! Each page of this Curved Corners Box application has a draggable WYSIWYG display. You can click and drag it anywhere you want on the page, even hanging it partway off of the page. If the page is longer than one page long, it will hold it's position when you vertically scroll the page. In most cases the appearance of the WYSIWYG box will automatically update after you modify one of the fields in this program and then click anywhere outside the field. An 'Updating WYSIWYG' message will appear near the field you modified and will disappear when the update is complete. You can also trigger a WYSIWYG update by pressing RETURN while still in the field you modified. If there appears to have been an error and the update did not actually take place, click on the 'Update WYSIWYG' button on the bottom of the WYSIWYG display to manually trigger the update at any time. What determines the size of the WYSIWYG box? It's width is determined by fields found at the bottom of the main application page in the section titled 'Box Width and Target Page Settings'. The first field found there, the 'Make box fixed width' field, sets your Curved Corner Box to a fixed width and the WYSIWYG display will reflect that. When you set your box to a fixed width and you add more contents to your box, your Curved Corner Box will automatically grow taller. You set the box width and the amount of content within the box determines it's height. In some cases you might want to erase the fixed width field mentioned above and use the field below it instead, the 'Target for web page area with width' field. Unlike setting your box to a fixed width, when you use this setting the Copy/Paste code provided by this system has no width setting in it and your Curved Corners Box will expand to the width of the area into which it is pasted. Which is useful if you do not know the exact width of the column into which you are going to paste the code or if that column has it's width set as a relative setting like '%'. Also, if you use this setting and the amount of contents in your box is small, like a single word, then the box will shink to the size of the contents. The 'Make box fixed width' setting will not do that. By using this setting your Curved Corners box will expand to the size of the column minus any setting you made for the 'Horizontal spacing around box' field. When you use this setting and paste the same Curved Corners Copy/Paste code into web page columns of different widths, the two Curved Corner Boxes will be of different widths and heights! (Height is determined by contents and line wrapping). The setting for this field is represented by the light gray vertical bars on either side of your Curved Corners Box in the WYSIWYG display. Each page of the application maintains a 'memory' of the position of the WYSIWYG box on it's page. When you go from one page of the application to another and then come back, the WYSIWYG display for that page will be at the place where it was when you left the page. The WYSIWYG position infomation is maintained separately for each page of the application and can be different for every page. The WYSIWYG position infomation is only maintained as long as you stay within the Curved Corners Box application. If you go to another web site and then come back to the application, the WYSIWYG boxes will start at the default position of the lower right corner of the screen. At the bottom of the WYSIWYG display on each page are a few functions. These functions vary from page to page and are specific to each page. |
The web FORM above was 'skinned' using this WIZARD and then just copied/pasted into this page. It is a 'live' web FORM and you can use it to do a search of this web site or to do a search of Google. This automated Curved Corners Box WIZARD can 'skin' practically any HTML and that HTML will still be 'live'. Some things you can 'skin' with this WIZARD include: | |||||||||||||||||||
